Cú Chulainn Veterinary Hospital is a dedicated small animal facility located in the outskirts of Tralee. We offer routine and emergency care for pets from the four corners of Kerry, day and night. With over thirty years experience between our vets, we pride ourselves in providing gold standard care with a personal touch. In addition to routine health care and advice, we are happy to see more challenging cases and offer a second opinion where appropriate. Our purpose built premises equipped with state of the art equipment and extensive laboratory facilities allow us to investigate medical issues thoroughly and implement appropriate treatment plans. We are fortunate to have a large capacity for hospitalisation, should your animal require more intensive nursing and monitoring. All of our staff are pet owners and know exactly what it feels like when your animal is sick or injured. As such, we provide a compassionate and respectful service, treating every patient as if they were our own.

Our History

Tralee's only dedicated small animal hospital

Opened in 2015, our hospital was a life project for founding veterinary surgeon Peter Hill. Since opening, the practice has gone from strength to strength and expanded to a total of eight staff members. We have many loyal clients and welcome new ones on a daily basis. Designing the practice from scratch allowed for a user friendly, functional layout with a bright and welcoming reception area. There is ample free parking adjacent to the practice, making your visit convenient and stress free. We are part of the Veterinary Council of Ireland's accredited practice scheme and are fully compliant with regular inspections, ensuring the best possible service is available to our clients and patients.
